Firefighters responded to West Lake Shore Drive shortly after 1 p.m. September 14 after learning someone might be trapped inside. Crews searched the home, found the victim and provided emergency care before the person was taken to a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Danbury Fire Marshal’s Office.
