The Cingari family has opened a new ShopRite at Nutmeg Square on Danbury’s east side, offering expanded grocery and pharmacy services. City officials say the new store and renovations represent more than 40 million dollars in private investment and are expected to support more than 200 jobs. During the grand opening, the family also donated 10 thousand dollars to Connecticut Foodshare to help address food insecurity statewide.
