Two firefighters were injured while battling a house fire in Southbury Wednesday evening. Crews found heavy flames at a home on Route 67 near Route 172. Mutual aid was called from surrounding towns. Officials say the home suffered extensive damage and the firefighters were hospitalized with minor heat-related issues.
