The Union Savings Bank Foundation has awarded a record 693-thousand dollars in grants to 80 nonprofit organizations serving 34 communities across central and western Connecticut. The funding supports programs ranging from education and housing to health care, food assistance and youth services. It’s the foundation’s largest annual grant distribution since it was established in 1998.
