Police in Newtown have now confirmed that it was a 14 year old who was behind the wheel in a rollover crash last week. Investigators say the vehicle went off the road, hit a utility pole, and flipped onto its side near Cemetery Road. The child driver and a juvenile passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation with possible charges now pending.
