Governor Ned Lamont has selected Ari Santiago of West Hartford to serve as interim chair of the Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education. Santiago has served on the board since 2020 and previously built Hartford-based IT Direct into one of the state’s largest managed technology companies. Lamont says Santiago brings business and technology experience as the board works to appoint an interim chancellor for the state college and university system.
