A community food drive benefiting FAITH Food Pantry will be held Monday, August 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Big Y on Queen Street in Newtown. Donations of non-perishable food, personal care items, diapers, pet supplies, paper goods and gift cards will help families and individuals in Newtown and Sandy Hook. FAITH is an all-volunteer organization providing free and confidential food assistance.
