A family of five is without a home after a chimney fire tore through a condominium in Ridgefield. The blaze reportedly broke out Saturday afternoon at the Fox Hill complex and quickly spread inside and outside the unit. The family escaped safely, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters from multiple departments brought the fire under control within about 30 minutes, limiting damage mainly to the living room. The American Red Cross is assisting the family, and the cause remains under investigation.
