Connecticut is launching two new grant programs to help communities expand tree canopy coverage and strengthen urban forests. The federally funded programs, administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, will help municipalities address tree loss caused by pests and disease while supporting healthier, more resilient forests on municipal and tribal lands.
