Eversource says it’s ready for the extreme heat and humidity expected across Connecticut ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. The utility expects electricity demand to climb about 35 percent as air conditioners run longer and may activate its ConnectedSolutions program to reduce stress on the electric grid during peak usage.
