The future of InfoWars is now in the hands of a Texas court as a new takeover bid moves forward. The satirical outlet The Onion is seeking control of the platform with backing from families of Sandy Hook victims, following court judgments totaling about 1-point-4 billion dollars against founder Alex Jones. InfoWars’ parent company is currently under court-appointed control after bankruptcy filings. A judge is expected to review the proposed deal, which would require licensing the InfoWars brand, later this week.
