Connecticut wildlife biologists will hold a black bear safety and awareness forum Wednesday, August 12, at 7 p.m. at Warren Woods. Experts will discuss the state’s growing bear population, preventing bears from entering homes and protecting livestock, beehives and garbage. Residents can also learn how to respond safely during a bear encounter.
