Gov. Ned Lamont is calling for a statewide review of the growing use of safety cameras and automated license plate readers by Connecticut municipalities. Lamont says residents have legitimate privacy concerns and is urging towns and cities to pause installation of new equipment while the Police Officers Standards and Training Council conducts its review.
