The parent company of Stop & Shop has agreed to pay 40 million dollars to settle allegations it overbilled Medicare and Medicaid programs for certain prescription drugs. Federal officials say the case involved reported drug prices between 2013 and 2017. The company denied wrongdoing as part of the settlement agreement.
