The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Electric Boat $76.6 billion for additional Columbia- and Virginia-class submarines and shipyard improvements. Connecticut officials say the multiyear contracts will support Connecticut jobs, expand shipbuilding and bring long-term economic growth to the state.
