The Ridgefield Historical Society is launching a new “Mad for Modern” series with a June 7 event featuring a tour of a Japanese-influenced modern home built in the 1930s. The program includes a house talk, guided garden walk and discussion of the home’s connection to a silk importer, and post-war Japanese-American trade. Reservations are required for the event.
