Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont easily defeated state Representative Josh Elliott in Tuesday’s Democratic primary, winning nearly every town and about two-thirds of the vote in late returns. Former Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin also defeated longtime Congressman John Larson for the Democratic nomination in the 1st Congressional District. Republicans Michael Goldstein and Chris Shea won nominations in the 4th and 5th Congressional districts.
