One person suffered minor burns after a boat explosion on Candlewood Lake in Danbury Monday afternoon. Firefighters say six people evacuated the vessel and were helped to safety by the Candlewood Lake Authority after the explosion was reported just before 4 p.m. A second person was taken for evaluation as a precaution, while investigators continue working to determine what caused the blast.
