Mayor Roberto Alves is hosting Danbury’s first-ever Nonprofit Summit today at Western Connecticut State University. The event brings together nonprofit leaders, lawmakers and community groups to discuss partnerships and community needs. Organizers say the summit is focused on improving coordination and expanding services for Danbury residents.
