Danbury officials have approved expanded plans for a $115 million cancer treatment center on the city’s west side. The project will offer advanced proton therapy, a specialized form of radiation treatment designed to target cancer more precisely while reducing damage to healthy tissue. Construction could begin once financing is finalized.
